I'm Rhea Westbrook, a sixteen-year-old girl, who has just been dragged back to the place where both my parents grew up and I was born. My father Kai Westbrook is one of the two town doctors who owns his family's practice on Main Street and his girlfriend Sharna Conners runs her family's restaurant which happens to be one of the four in this town. My mother Rowan Bridge decided she wanted to leave corporate law, move back to her hometown, and run our family's law practice. So we left Miami, Florida and she moved us back to Bellfort, Vermont. She tells me how it's fun living in a small town where everyone knows each other and I'll be closer to my father who I barely even talk to. I don't see how but it's not like I had a choice anyway.
