Jackie Mills has loved baseball since she was a child. Everything from the turf to the concessions feels like home. After her father, owner of the Ashville Aviators, passes away suddenly Jackie and those around her are left in shock when they discover her father named her heir. Jackie is now the first female in history to own a major league baseball team.
She has some great ideas to incite change within the team, like bringing Corbin West, baseball scientist on board. But not everyone is thrilled with the change in regime and soon after West arrives Jackie begins receiving threats.
Determined to prove she can handle her father's legacy and not be scared away, Jackie suits up to hit a grand slam. She just hopes she doesn't strike out before getting to the batter's box.
