Sam had been dealt an unfortunate hand in life. Her home was basically a living hell, and she had been taught from a young age there was nothing she could do except comply with it.
Sam truly believed there was nothing that could make her life worse than it already was. A trip home late at night from a pharmacy would prove her wrong, though.
A stranger in an old truck rolled up next to her, offering her a ride home to cut her 30 minute walk down into a couple minute drive. After some debate, she said yes.
When she next awoke, she found herself in a large room filled with strangers. There was a thick, metal collar around her neck with a short chain that connected to the ground. Everyone else had a similar apparatus restricting them.
"Why am I here?"
A few of them laughed.
"You're his latest test subject for creating werewolves."

The same frequent nightmare. He was back in the familiar forest, all the settings were same but today was different. Kelvin was on his heels while the beast after him. He had seen the beast set a local hut that obviously had people inside it on fire, the agonizing cries filled the forest hunting his sanity and before long blood started oozing out of the hut. Kelvin was so frightened that he couldn't help a scream escaping his mouth and that's how the beast noticed him. The run was long and torturous for Kelvin, for reasons he can't tell his body was heavy and difficult to move and the creature was getting closer with each passing seconds. They continued racing racing until Kelvin lost it, he halted to catch his breath but then he saw the same creature in his front with an evil smirk on its face showing his big fangs, his elongated nails were dripping with blood. " No matter how long you run, you can't run away from me. It's your destiny that I shall destroy you and then there will be no more prophecy! The beast continued with a smirk as he comes closer bit by bit. The moment Kelvin tried to run again it stretched his hand and grabbed his shoulder pinching him with the sharp nails... Drifting through the days with her group of friends, Sammy only cared about escaping it all with the help of casual sex, drugs, and alcohol until she met Brett. He swept her away, and the werewolf world consumed her. Partying took a backseat to the passion and danger filled life as an alpha's mate took over. His body tensed; it was as if he could sense my attraction the instant I felt it. "I'm sorry." I said looking away as I realized I had been starring. "It isn't anything to be embarrassed about. It's an animal instinct. It's natural. Humans only suppress it because they think it's rude. It isn't." He didn't say it like he was bragging but instead with a reassuring confidence about him. "It's actually extremely attracting when a female shows arousal outright." I was shocked; he described me like a lioness in heat. Almost as if my attraction to him was a sign saying 'come get me.' It's face, livid with anger, revealed a set of unpleasant and sharp teeth. It began to move slightly forward. The wolf bounded towards me. It happened so quickly I had no time to react. It's limbs outstretched. It's teeth bared. My body, paralyzed from fear, refused to move. My lip quivered, urged to call for help, but no help would come. I was too deep into the woods.
