Untapped Potential: his greatest disappointment.

For their entire life, Reginald had preached upon preached that they all had enormous potential; Klaus got the brunt of it.

Luther would get a firm slap on the back, Allison would get some definite praise, Five would be told that he was a gifted mind, Diego was told that he was getting better, Ben would get a gift, and Klaus...

Klaus would get a lecture.

They all got told they had potential, but Klaus was the only one who was ever told he was a disappointment because he couldn't reach it- because it was supposedly greater than he could imagine.

"Klaus's eyes went a bright- electric blue as he raised from his seat, his chest struggling forward and his arms spread wide as his body was wracked with tremors. His breathing grew more and more frazzled as soft blue light trails wafted elegantly into Klaus's arms, saturating his veins. Every trail they took would burn a majestic azure before it all halted- completely. The world seemed to darken as the sun moved outside, the room growing dim. Klaus collapsed to the ground with a clamorous thud."
