Siena (Forestfolk, Book 1)
Siena can heal wounds with a touch of her hands. A captive since birth, she is used as a tool of war by a Plainsmen tribe. A chance escape into the forest proves successful... and deadly. The Blade and The Bird
She'd spent many years playing in this forest as a child. While Selene had enjoyed her novels in the warmth of the house, a blanket wrapped around her narrow shoulders, Sidra always came home covered in mud and scrapes from hours out in the wilderness. She'd take an axe out into the forest and pretend to fight off monsters, the terrifying Mystics that her grandmother had told her stories about. She'd pretend to fight Lycans, knocking out their massive teeth one by one. She'd stand atop rocks and throw her axe at the trees, pretending they were wood nymphs come to steal her away. She'd always return home and tell Selene about the monsters she'd fought that day, spinning together a story of courage and bravery for her little sister. She felt that pain in her heart again as she thought of those times. Through the years, she'd stop going into the woods to play, and she'd instead find stories for Selene. Books of all sizes and shapes, no matter the content, because it made her feel close to her sister just as she had before her parents died. She thought of her family now, how she was all alone. Her parents had been gone for years, her grandmother, and now even Selene was missing somewhere. She needed to find her sister, she couldn't lose the last bit of her family. **Complete

A high-pitched, pain-stricken scream. Like a hawk. That was the sound that echoed through the gloomy sky that evening. The furious clouds banged their drums and distributed fireworks in preparation of the godly tantrum to come, animals of the forest safely tucked away in their little homes. Everything was so quiet until the hawk. A large bird of sorts, you saw it, falling from the sky. Except that it soon errupted into light, like flames, like a meteor. Like a shooting star that was strayed by attraction through gravity in its passage from the east to the west. What you'll find here is just about that. Title says it all. A Heroes Journey (Old/Unedited) :)
A boy named Aiden King is living his normal teen life when his dad suddenly takes him, his cousin, and his uncle for a hunting trip in the forest. The trip takes a few wrong turns, and the four of them decide to head back. After a month passes, however, Aiden's dad decides that they should go back to the forest for a do-over. As Aiden expected though, the trip goes wrong once again. Only thing is, he didn't know that it was going to be worse then any of them could've imagined. When all the drama from the trip dies down a little, a certain someone is forced to stay with them. After a couple of days, however, this "someone" shows no sign of leaving. Then Aiden makes some friends who wouldn't exactly be considered normal in the eye of humans, and -with some of his friends from his high school- goes on a journey that nobody knew would be possible.
