Last Christmas was an absolute nightmare for Y/N. What she was expecting to be a Christmas to remember, turned out to be a one to remember in a bad way. Over the next year, she had quickly given up on finding love, declaring it wasn't worth the heartache. Now, that Christmas was coming around again, she was determined to do whatever she could to make this year's Christmas way better than the last.
The last few years, Harry has tried and failed miserably to find love. There were many times, he believed he was in love, but he quickly realized that wasn't what he was feeling. In fact, he's never really been in love at all. So, after many failures in the love department, he's simply turned off his heart and given up.
But when Harry and Y/N cross paths neither of them can deny the connection they feel towards the other. No matter how hard they try or how determined they are to keep their hearts closed off, they are brought together. Perhaps it's simply the magic of the season, or maybe, just maybe their hearts have finally found their missing piece.

They've known each other since they were eleven, inseparable best friends for as long as they can remember, but long distance and spotty behavior causes them to lose touch after graduation. When Maddie and Harry run into each other again ten years later, what happens when feelings that were pushed away begin to resurface? EXCERPT: "How about this..." He suddenly gets an idea, a bold one, but he can't help but share it. "If neither of us are married by thirty, let's get married." Obviously, she'll be married by thirty. She's perfect, and any man who's as dense as a rock could see it. Surely, someone will sweep her off her feet and put a ring on her finger in the next twelve years, it's inevitable with the type of person she is. Deep down he wants it to be him, but he wouldn't dare make a move that could ruin the strongest friendship he's had his entire life. Maddie finds herself smiling at Harry's idea, she loves it. When Noel spots a young man in the park watching her making snow angels, she feels shy, but something tells her to speak to him. She found herself drawn to him in a way she hadn't been in the past. Alex and Noel spend the whole day having winter fun. She has to constantly explain the games they play in the park to him. It was as though he has never played in the snow before. - When night falls, he explains that he has to go, but he's had the most amazing day of his whole life. They kiss before he leaves, Noel's first kiss. It was everything she had ever imagined, and she floats off never expecting to see the young man again. - The next day, a single rose turns up at her flat with a note. She eagerly opens it, suspecting it was from him, but with no knowledge of how he found her. The short message expresses that he would like to see her again. He doesn't know how or when, but that he will make it happen. - Later that day, three black 4x4s show up outside her place. At first, she assumes it must be for someone else until several suited men knock on her door.
