dystopia environmental nature pollution sci-fi

A girl goes out into the wilderness to admire the beauty of nature and to get some piece of mind, but something she stumbles apoun during her trek leaves her stricken with grief and sorrow.

So this is basically a short descriptive essay that I wrote for my English class, but it turned out a bit more story-like than what my teacher wanted. Either way, I urge you Wattpaders to read it, it'll only take a minute or two since its very short but it's a piece of writing that I'm proud of and I feel like it holds a lot of meaning, at least to me it does.

The story is about me and my journey through life. It always seemed to me somewhat self-indulgent and egotistical for somebody to spend time writing about their life and then expect other people to read it. I am not a writer, something I think all my English teachers at school would have concurred with-I was a mathematician-but I felt obliged to write my life story after my inner world conspired to write a response to the problem of Being. My Philosophy of Being is original; it flowed from my life journey over ten years like a stream from its source. I knew that if I were to reference my primary source, I would have to write it first. Reluctantly, I set about writing my life story, but as I wrote it, I realised there were other reasons why I needed to complete it, which should become clear as you read it.

i wrote this for a class project- tell me if there is needed corrections :) The main character is a girl named Elizabeth, who has been on the streets for countless years because her parents abandoned her. she is on the run from the cops, for reasons you must read to understand:) and after being alone for all those years she finally finds love and has a child. but things go wrong and people are hurt...Have fun!! and ENJOY:)

This is a collection of poems written as a way to control a person's feelings; originally they were never intended to be seen by human eyes. This is written from the point of view of someone who struggles with emotional turmoil but feels they cannot tell others about it because their afraid it might drag them into the same torture they feel everyday. Depression is a serious thing that plagues our world and this is one of many ways it can affect a person. Too many people act like this doesn't exist or its a style but its not its a serious issue people have become desensitized to. When this book was first published it climbed its way to #1 in depression, to my dismay I took it down hoping to find a publisher that would be willing to work with me (of course no progress has been made) ALL poems in this book have a trigger warning but if there is *** in the title than its a suggestion and an extra precaution to not read it if you are at risk of becoming triggered. TRIGGER WARNING!!!! FOR ANYONE WHO DEALS WITH DEPRESION OR HAS DEALT WITH IT!!! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! There is cursing in some parts of this!!!! IF AT ANY POINT YOU FEEL TRIGGERED OR NEED HELP CONTACT THE CRISIS HOTLINE AT 741741

COMPLETED, next poetry collection coming soon This is a poetry collection that is both ever updating and ever changing. This collection of poetry isn't exactly traditional or ever a solid complete piece of prose, I am ever adding and changing and morphing them into something I feel is better or is more to what I feel suits the character or the emotion I wrote the poem to embody. That being said, this collection has some works alike the past one that I made a few years back that doesn't quite hold up to standard today. I have poems that I have remade and moved into this collection, so If you have come from the previous collection know that if you recognise the theme it's because of that. I created this intended as both a challenge to write some feelings into something productive as-well as to write some inspired works made for a character I made as I wrote the poem or for a event or piece of media I enjoyed. Nothing is ever solid or at least their perspective will change as I write the poem or rewrite it. Anyways enjoy, I try not to be too pretentious but I don't really care because again this is a vent piece of work.

Of Breaking hearts, young love, betrayal and pain. Of Mending hearts, familiar pain, unexpected hurt and aftermath. Of Healing hearts, underated heartache, pain and acceptance. Of Love, Love that is as deep sea. Pain, that knows no bounds. Strength, that exist within time, but lasts forever. Of Sadness, sadness that always returns, Of Trauma, trauma that runs in deep, and the art of dying, every time. Of Scribbles and rambles, unsaid words and sealed pain. Of Life, Love, Pain, Sadness, Trauma. Of the art of rising like a phoenix, every time. Of Anxiety and Paranoia. Of Anything bad, Of Everything good. This is a story of a girl, it's a continuous one. A story of a sad girl, very lonely, but beautiful, intelligent and strong. She's a self sabotaging narcissistic girl, but also a talented, skilled and brave girl. She is riddled with anxiety and depression, but somehow finds ways to get up each morning, thinking of beautiful things. She has loved and lost, hurt and being hurt. She has not lost herself, but she has not find herself either. This is the life of a girl, laid before you in poems and thoughts. She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order.
