Hajime Hinata is a normal, college student, trying to become something noteable in this world. He takes many classes to try and become very smart, too smart. Hajime tends to avoid anything or anyone that could bring him any sort of trouble, but his hopes are ruined when he gets assigned with Nagito Komaeda, a..different person from the rest of them. Hajime is hesitant to work with Nagito, but he quickly realizes he has no other choice, and he'd rather not drop out just to avoid Nagito. As they work together, and start to notice they both have much in common, Hajime and Nagito both catch unexpected feelings which lead to unexpected events.
