"The first ones are always the hardest" someone behind me says with a hint of an accent
The deep voice startles me, as I whirl around to find a stranger in the doorway looking down at me.
"Pardon?" I ask cautiously while fixing to turn back around and walk away.
"The first couple of kills are always the hardest" he says while puffing out smoke from his cigar, and looking up at the midnight sky.
I freeze mid-turn and my blood runs cold. I slowly turn around to face the stranger and find him leaning against the doorway with his hands in his pocket and cigar in his mouth. I steal a glance at his muscular arms tainted with black ink, and the tattoo sprawled on the side of his neck. He stands tall, presumably 6'5, while eyes as dark as an abyss, stare back down at me.
He runs a hand through his dark, slightly wet, black locks and puffs smoke out from his cigar
"So tell me Spencer Rivera, how does it feel to be a murderer?"
