The 3rd Great Ninja War has begun many days ago. We are losing our companions one by one. Our enemies have taken the lives of innocent individuals.
"I can't lose you Kaori, it's too dangerous." He murmured, concealing me behind his back, and we are hiding behind a tall tree in the woods, carefully watching the ninjas fight in front of us.
"Naruto. look at me, thousands of people have lost their lives in this war. Blood, sweat, and tears were shed. Hundreds of hours of tireless work have been wasted, and It is now up to us. We have the power to choose freedom."
"Kaori, I'm not risking your life; I can't live in this world without you." He whispered and reached for the temples of my face. I can feel his hands shaking and his anxiety rising.
I took his head and gently placed his forehead on my own.
"all they want is me, they need my power, and they'll have to kill me to get it." I delivered my words with certainty, looking into his despairing and denial-filled eyes.
