The Fight In You [18+]

Corri Armstrong is coming home. At 15, her ex-boxer father brought home Colt Anderson, realizing his need for family and the potential to be a great fighter. But Corri fell for him despite the fact he never returned her affections. At 25, Corri is coming home to new responsibilities and a sick father. She will have to face Colt and work through all the feelings she's been holding back for years.

At the age of 18, Colt has kept his distance from Corri in order to respect her father's wishes. But these two are now no longer teens. Through flashbacks, we see Corri and Colt's relationship unfurl. Secrets are revealed and things are not what they seem. Colt soon realizes that he can't let Corri go without a fight.

"Colt," I panted, unable to take another minute of this tension. A slow smile spread across his face before he opened his mouth and presented the knotted cherry stem on the tip of his tongue.

I laughed at him and rolled my eyes. "A man of many talents," I replied sarcastically.

Colt pulled the knot from his tongue and dropped it onto his plate. His gaze returned to my mouth as he hummed, "Butterfly, you have no idea."
