He joins the evil Team Rocket and begins to ravage the regions, and ends up in Alola, hooked on destroying Kirby and his friends forever. Dan is at home when Zane asks Dan to let him go on an adventure with him, but when Dan says no. Zane gets mad and yells at Dan for not letting him go on adventures.
