Michael has always been shy and timid. Not because he was abused at home or anything like that. In fact, he had very loving parents. Very rich, loving parents. And well, whenever people found out, they always suddenly wanted to be his friend to use him. To get the latest gadgets or games for their birthdays, and to borrow money that they never give back. They always left in the end, gradually and subtly so he wouldn't notice until it was too late. It didn't bother him as a kid; there were others to play with. But once middle and high school started, it hurt a lot. Especially when they began to pick on him after getting what they had wanted from him. So when his parents moved to Sydney, he saw his chance. His chance to pretend that he was like any other normal kid who had to wait for the latest phone or the newest video game. But when he meets three best friends in the year above him, his cover begins to unravel.
