The Not So Perfect Potter
The great Harry Potter, defeater of Voldemort, the boy who lived. Not a single thought went out to his older sister for years, yes an older sister. Belle Lily Potter, a year older than Harry. She was sent away when the Order of the Phoenix found out Harry and their parents were at risk. For years she had been living in America attending Ilvermorny, until she was nearly discovered by a death eater. Now she lives with family friends in France she is attending Beauxbatons for her fifth year. She know about Harry and often checks in on him with Dumbledore as her messenger. Harry of course knows nothing about her, and that's how it needs to stay, even the knowledge of Belles existence places her in unthinkable danger. She remains the not so perfect Potter. Beauxbatons is extremely hard to fit in when you're the only girl who has no Veela in her. But what she can do is Legilimency, where she is able to read any mind she comes across if she wishes and she inherited her father's animagus ability. Harry may look remarkably like his father and has his mothers eyes, but Belle is an exact replica of Lily Evans, down to every last freckle. She had lost almost everyone, and she refused to be the reason she lost anyone else. Moving to Forks, Washington was a huge change. She didn't know what to expect when she moved there, but she really didn't expect to find shapeshifters and vampires close to where she lived. She was different as well, but she believed she was alone. She didn't expect to find someone to love, nor did she expect for things to fall apart around her more than they already had. When she was born, he was terrified that she would have the werewolf curse like him, but she wasn't cursed like him. She had a few characteristics, but she wasn't a werewolf. Enid was the same age as Fred and George Weasley, so during school, they were her best friends. They did everything together, and they loved her like a sister. It was as if there was triplets instead of twins, but she never did go to the Burrow. She was too worried about her father to leave him during any holidays or breaks. Enid had met Fred and George's little brother and sister, but she never did formally meet any of their older siblings. She knew of them, but she never met them, not even the brother that was a prefect then the Headboy. Anyway, Enid had dropped out of school with the twins to work at the joke shop, and that was just how things kicked off. Years later, when You-Know-Who attacked Hogwarts to kill Harry Potter, that's when Enid lost almost everything. She felt scared and lost, but at least she still had her uncle and her little brother. She also had her sweet baby, who had been born only a short bit of time after the war. Emily lived with Lily and James, and eventually Harry, until the day James and Lily were murdered, then everything changed. Emily was sent to live with James' friend Remus Lupin, as Harry was sent to live with Petunia and Vernon Dursley. Remus cared for Emily as best as he could, considering he didn't have much money to raise a child. Emily loved Remus; seen him like the older brother she had lost. Like her nephew, Emily became friends with Weasleys, but her Weasley friends were Bill and Charlie. When Emily was of age, she still hadn't heard much of her nephew. Remus didn't even tell her that he was still alive until she was almost fifteen. She missed the boy, though she had only really known him for a year before James and Lily were gone. Emily wanted Harry taken in to her care once she was of age, but Dumbledore would not allow it. He believed Harry was safe with the Dursley family. So, Emily left to Romania with Charlie, but not for the same reason as Charlie. While Emily lived in Romania with Charlie, she did not follow the same career path. Charlie worked with dragons, and Emily decided to be a babysitter for wizards and witches. The money was great, which made her wonder why Dumbledore believed she was incompetent of raising Harry.
