What if the myths of Halloween are not actually myths, but are rooted in truth?

Every year, for two weeks leading up to the infamous Halloween holiday, every creature imaginable rises from hiding, with only one purpose; to annihilate something called “The Core”, which is the device that keeps them at bay for fifty weeks of the year. The Core is unknown to most humans, except for a specialized team of fighters who push the forces back into hiding every year.

For five years, Kimberly has fought back endless hordes of zombies, werewolves, vampires, and their overlord. However, this year, she starts do doubt the intentions of the overlord and questions his identity, bringing her closer to the forces that keep the monsters coming back, year after year.
