If you were suddenly thrown into a post apocalyptic world with no friends or family, ruled by merciless gangs and overly rich con men, what would you do?
Raven nightingale was in such a position. Her parents and friends had been killed 2 years earlier when they tried to seek shelter in a small cinema- little did they know that the now ruling gang known as the CBD had been planning to bomb it ever since they had formed.
With no means to support herself Raven turns to stealing from the rich men and women that frequented her city but in a torn and dying world there is always danger around the corner; especially for a 16 year old girl like Raven.
Suddenly there are rumours everywhere about a new life- one seemingly too good to be true, and Raven will do anything to find it. However the thirst to avenge her family and friends still burns bright within her, but will the mysterious and fleeting image of a boy from her past bring everything she has built up crashing down around her?
