The sun is starting to come up, I watch as the sky changes colors: pink, orange, then purple. It's beautiful, I could spend an eternity staring at the big blue world above me. When I was little my sister told me we were stuck in a snow globe. That the atmosphere was really glass and we were trapped inside. At the time, it kind of scared me. Now, I like the thought of it, a random kid flipping the snow globe over and me toppling into the clouds.
That's how I felt when I met Noah, like someone was shaking the world around me. I was falling into clouds and I didn't know up from down anymore. Every time my feet tasted the ground the earth beneath me started to shake again. Noah was an earthquake.
