Malia Dawson has had high expectations on her for most of her life. As the oldest of 4 siblings and the daughter of the principle of her towns only high school, who was very well liked by most of the community, she had big shoes to fill and expectations to meet. She spent her whole life in what her school district calls "The Gifted Track" which is pretty much setting you up for a higher level of education and a better future. She has grown up with the same people for years, and her friend group recently fell apart. Now it's her senior year, and Malia is hopelessly single and tasked with welcoming the new kid, Colton Dixon, into the school and the Gifted Track. How will she cope with the constant pressure from those around her, and the ways Colton will begin to turn her life upside down?
