Sixteen year-old Jennifer Dallas has never had much luck in life. That’s why her grandfather nicknamed her Jinx. After complications with the family she is forced to move with her parents and annoying older sister to the town of Greenbeck. However the estate agent didn’t tell them that their house used to belong to a demented murderous old man or that this town is overrun with vampires, witches and oh did I mention the woods are stalked by a dark angel? Not to mention the fact her brother is back. He’s turned up out of the blue and is still on the run. What could make her life any worse? Falling in love with the worst of them all. Oh yeah life’s about to get a whole lot harder for Jinx.
