What if Red had a family member he never knew of? What if... He had a different life?
Red of Pallet town and his friends are on their way to battling Giovanni and defeating Team Rocket, but when Red's memories are distracting their goals, up to the point that he isn't opening up anymore, Green and Blue are determined to find out what's up with the champion, and somehow - dig deep into his past.
BTW: red's rival here is green, and im using their names from Japan. and i dont own any of the pokedex owners except for my three ocs :D

The Champion Quest
Summary: The World Championship Series have begun. Follow Ash as he goes through a new stretch of his journey where he will have to uncover the mystery behind the newly formed Neo Team Rocket and how is newly met companion ties with them. This is an AU in which Ash is not the same as the Ash we know from the anime. He hasn't traveled with his companions and he is mostly cold hearted. One day, Jack finds himself washed up on a beach, mysteriously transformed into a Riolu suffering from amnesia with the only memory of a name and that they were a human. A Pikachu by the name Sparky, finds Jack on the beach and eventually, the two become an inseparable duo as they form an exploration team and go on many fantastic adventures. However, through all of this, time has begun to get out of control. Could this have any link in revealing who Jack once was? Only time will tell. (I would like to point out that this story will be very similar to its source material (i.e. story and events) and I have been given advice by someone, who will remain anonymous, and I have taken some of their tips to help myself, but I've also stated that I would enjoy it more by paralleling the story as I know it from the game. Green does and appear and is Ash's and Gary's third and she is reimagined as Leaf's sister. Leaf is also the oldest. Red, Blue, and Leaf are 14 years old and Ash, Gary, and Green are 10 years old. Pokémon Red (Book 2)
This is the second installment in the 'Pokémon Red' series. Red, a 10-year-old Pokémon Trainer, after rejecting the oppurtunity to become the Viridian City Gym Leader must continue his quest of becoming a Pokémon Master to the Johto Region. Here he will be met with similar challenges, mainly - Team Rocket. Frequently Asked Questions: Q - This book has a crossover? A - The book crosses over with @Bossun24 's Pokemon Leaf Chronicles for 6 chapters. The crossover had been planned 1 year prior to its publishing. Q - Why is Leaf replaced by Lyra? A - Leaf is not replaced by Lyra, both characters are different in their own ways. I wanted to get Leaf out of the picture for a different kind of character growth. Lyra is Red's cousin sister, with Red being an experienced trainer, he acts like a mentor to her. Q - So time travel happens in this one? A - It does, and its fun how it plays out. Q - Who is this Masked Man? There was a masked man in the manga too. A - While the idea was original, a mystery man who structures every Team Rocket plan and assists Giovanni. I was shocked to see that the manga had someone named "Masked Man" as well. Q - Who is this Masked Man? And why is he important? A - A mystery man controlling every aspect of a criminal organisation and has been the true mastermind of Giovanni's every plan? Sounds pretty important to me. As for his identity, I was very unsure if I was ever going to reveal it as it was not very important at first until the second book was coming to an end.Complete
