The 20 year old Skylar lost her family due a heavy hurricane four years ago. With still having nightmares of that faithfull day, Skylar tries to make something of her life and follows a difficult study. However, her past is still hunting her and won't pass this year unless she hands in something special for her final project. This draws her to the Philippines where she interviews survivors of one of the most dangerous hurricanes in histories. Hurricane Haiyan.

During her trip, she meets the 22 year old Tyler jones, son of the world famous meteorologist and scientist Dr. David Jones. While the son of the world famous meteorologist deals with his own father son relationship problems they have no idea that there's a storm coming and top of that, criminals are after Dr. David Jones and they want to strike during the most dangerous and strongest hurricane ever existed.
Skylar and Tyler not have to find Dr. Jones... but needs to find a way to survive the power of nature...
