Betty Cooper and Jughead jones have been best friends since kindergarten when they got sat at the same table in class. One day on the first day of their freshman year Betty makes a deal with Archie that if she gets him a date with Kevin he will talk to Jughead about confessing his feeling to Betty. Archie talks to Jughead and gives him two weeks to confess his feelings and if he doesnt him and veronica will. He makes a plan to do it at sweetwater river in the secret spot that they always would go too as little kids. When he confesses they kiss and start to date. The last five months of senior year they both get into different colleges and Jughead doesn't think they'll make it long distance so he breaks up with her. Betty is devastated and stops hanging out with friends and starts to seclude herself. One night Toni and Cheryl to a party and she meets Jugheads new girlfriend. Betty starts to question whether or not their relationship meant anything to him at all with how quickly he moved on especially since it had only been a month.
