Journee is a photographer who hasn't had it easy, but she always had her half-sister, Camila. They were thick as thieves until Lyndsay Murphy got involved. Now, Journee's whole world has changed. Her mother blames her for Camila's death, and she feels empty without her other half around.

Meanwhile, Ripley Flynn is in her own internal hell down under. She's 23 and resides outside Sydney, Australia. While she has the talent in her art, she doesn't feel worth much to anybody, not even her long-time girlfriend, Zoe.

The world is changing with protests, riots, and a virus spreading like a wildfire. What happens when these two meet? Will Ripley be able to give Journee life again? Will Journee be able to show Ripley her true worth? Can these two hurting artists come together to change the world's turmoil?
