Being tired of living and unable to go on anymore, she just wants to be free from her sufferings by putting an end to her life. She has become suicidal under the pressure, all because she never had someone she could tell her feelings to. Nobody understands her; that's what truly makes her existence in the world so lonesome.

"Then... let me be your reason to live." 
His words are very foreign to her, but they manage to convince her into living. He's a mystery to her, but she still chooses to believe his words, since he's the very first person to ever know and respond to her innermost feelings.

All she needs is a reason to make herself go on, even in hardships.
