The Eight of Earth is my debut novel and just released on Amazon! I have worked on this novel for the last four years as I played Major League Baseball and although an injury forced me to retire early, it gave me the opportunity to finish this epic story! Posted here is Part 1 and if you enjoy it, you can pick up the story over on Amazon. Just search for: The Eight of Earth. So without further ado... the book blurb:

The Eight of Earth are the only humans left in existence. They were birthed from artificial wombs, a century after the extinction of mankind, on a world far from Earth, doomed to be the last of their race and surrounded by the alien citizens of the planet.

As Leo attempts to save the human race from its second and final extinction, he stumbles upon a mysterious Ancient vault that kickstarts a chain of events that will change the course of history. Now, all Eight lives begin to spiral out of control as they encounter: century-old secrets, a debt owed to a ruthless crime lord, an incurable disease, a deadly jungle, the soul-crushing guilt of death, and a battle for one man's mind.

They're humanity's second chance... but they have to survive Valenia first

The aliens came here for one thing, and one thing only.... Females. ( This story is only available through inkitt or galatea!!!) (some read events may apply) (check update chapter for more details!) Humans believed they were the only intelligent life to exist... that it was impossible for another species to evolve in a way where they could prevail in something as great as space travel. humans believed they were supposed to be the most technologically advanced species and the alpha predators... They were wrong. The Xandisians evolved in ways humans never could have imagined, they are natural-born killers with phenomenal strength and agility. Their kind never went through the same devolution as humans, they never lost their natural instincts to hunt, kill, or breed. With their limitless potential and monstrous strength, they faced few threats and could survive almost any threat that befall their species, almost. After an incurable sickness washes over the planet of xanadis, the majority of the female, young and elderly, and vulnerable population is all but wiped out, leaving a small portion of the male population to face the threat of extinction. With no choice but to look to the stars for a means to save their kind from complete annihilation, the xandisians set out to find a race compatible with their own. after many years and countless failed expeditions, they finally find a species that matches their base DNA on a planet called Earth. The only issue now is how humans will react. (Book 2 LTF series) (CAN be read as a stand alone, but not recommended for nostalgia reasons~) (ps this is UNEDITED, grammar and spelling mistakes will ensue!) (NOTE: THIS IS ITS OWN STORY NOT A CONTINUATION. SAME CHARACTERS BUT DIFFERENT PLOT.)(Last to fall au/spin-off)

It's been five years since the plague struck. Leah knows there are other survivors, but she's avoiding them. She is doing just fine on her own. Surviving after everyone she knew died has made her physically strong and honed her intelligence, but she is emotionally devastated. There is nothing to fear if you don't make yourself emotionally vulnerable. James has spent the last five years helping to build up a colony of survivors. He believes in the small town they have populated and its mission to save humanity from extinction. He and his small team of men find scattered people and bring them in. Over the last two centuries, women have fought for and won more and more rights, gaining equality with men. Society, law, and technology bolsters and enforces these rights, but now they are gone. Women's equality with men is over. There are just too few of them. They aren't lesser but greater, more important, more valuable than men. Men are expendable. Men can stay outside alone if they like, but all women must be brought inside the safety of the Colony and properly taken care of. James has been searching the area Leah lives in. Her time of solitude is up. Leah sparks something in James he's never felt before. He's not letting this one get away, certainly not twice. Warning: Contains sex, some violence, occasional foul language, and adult issues. Genre: Science Fiction, Romance, Post-apocalyptic, Dark romance Length: 84,468 words This book has been published on Amazon. Among them is Alec Sumner, a man haunted by the ghosts of a world lost and burdened by a fate that could tip the scales of humanity's fate, a secret nobody can know... As Alec navigates the treacherous terrain of this new regime, he grapples not only with the alien threat but also with the darkness that lurks within the hearts of survivors pushed to their limits. Each day brings new challenges, and each choice carries the weight of unforeseen consequences as the line between ally and enemy blurs in the face of desperation. It delves into the depths of human nature, questioning what truly defines us when everything we once knew has been stripped away. As Alec's journey unfolds, readers will find themselves on the edge of their seats, pondering the price of survival and how far you would go to protect the ones you love...
