"I never asked you to fight for me!" I sighed in exasperation, "I can't lose you and I'm getting tired of chasing after someone so willing to leave me behind." His face contorted, that cold layer of numbness icing over his eyes. "then stop." the words cut through me. I stepped towards him slowly, barely knowing why. "I don't give up so easily. I need you. I care about you. You didn't come this far just to get this far." "You don't know me," he shot back somewhat angrily. I watched his eyes carefully, feeling them drifting to my lips. I never knew what he was feeling. Never knew how he'd feel about me. I always just guessed. And now I was done guessing. I let my own eyes drift to his lips. "Then show me" My back hit the wallpaper roughly, a small gasp escaping my lips as our eyes captured each other. We both knew what the other wanted. And he wasn't gonna make me ask. His lips crashed into mine hungrily. It was so soft and so angry. I could feel everything, all the pain, the agony, the sadness. But there was something else. The soft desperation for me underlined it all.
