Blake Mitchell isn't your everyday type of girl. She's a hardcore tomboy, who just so happens to wear 'girly' clothes upon occasion and plays guitar. She's all about melodic sound of music, and has a temper nobodies ever been able to compete with.
Need someone to beat the school jocks in a race? She's your girl. That damn performer you needed for that party on Saturday didn't show? Gotcha covered. Got a twelve inch pizza lying around that nobody will eat? She can take care of that, too. But what can't she do?
Love Kingsley isn't quite like the six foot three behemoths you see on TV. Although he's blessed with the genes of a giant, and could beat anyone's ass, the sweet guy could never harm a fly. He's the definition of a giant teddy bear, and could win anyone's heart when given the chance. Nobody can ever love a person more than little old Love can.
One of the many things his soon to be friends learn upon introduction, is that Love is deaf. Not only is he adorable and timid, but he doesn't have the best of hearing and relies on sign language or lip reading.
And so begins the strange combination of people. Someone who's life revolves around her guitar meets a person who hasn't heard their own voice in four years. A bubbly, outgoing girl meets the timid and introverted boy. Their worlds couldn't be further apart. Until they collide.
This all makes for just the right kind of love story.
