Time Can't Heal This
I've always hated the saying "Time heals all wounds." Maybe in most cases that may be true. In my experience with life and pain however, time has only ever bled out the wound. The scars that the wounds left behind though, are often so deep that just looking at them becomes painful to the mind. Time only heals what you let go of. Sometimes letting go and moving on just doesn't feel possible; no matter how much time you let pass you by. These poems signify what time hasn't healed for me.Complete
Reborn To Revenge
"Please, let me go" I don't know why she wanted to kill me. I thought she was my best friend. She stabbed the knife into my chest, "He said only if you are dead, he'll accept me" I spatted the blood from my mouth, "H-He?" "Yes. When he confessed his love to you, do you remember how you rejected him?" "I d-did that because I k-knew you like -him" "Oh stop your drama 'I am a good girl' show. I have lots of money, I have so many ways to get what I like. But he asked me you to be dead. so of course to get what i want, I'll go to any extreme" Again she stabbed me in the same place, "Be a good a girl and have a Eternal sleep. Don't worry, I'll lead a happy life with the one I love" Before I closed my eyes, I saw her evil smile which pained me a lot. Why I have to die like this? It's unfair for me. Destined By Fate
Kendall has always lived a quiet life in a small town in Illinois with her family, friends, and boyfriend Jordan. Her life had been mostly happy other than when her best friend moved away when she was 10. It took her years to get over that loss. Then several years later, tragedy struck when her father passed away suddenly and Kendall was forced to move with her mom closer to Chicago where she could find a job to support the two of them. Little does Kendall know that she is in for the surprise of a lifetime. From the book.... As he catches up to me, he grabs my arm swings me around and with one swift movement he ushers me into a nearby empty classroom with the lights off. He cages me in against the wall. His close proximity is making me dizzy and my mind is thinking very dirty thoughts. Wait no. I can't think like that anymore. "Kendall." He says hungrily. "You are mine and only mine. You drive me wild and no one else can have you." He says as he attacks my lips. It feels so amazing I can't help but kiss him back. I run my hands through his beautiful hair and he groans into the kiss. Man I don't want this to ever end. I feel drunk on him. I don't think I can let him go. He stops suddenly to finish his thoughts. "No one can make you feel like this. Or kiss you here...." He says as he kisses down my neck. I moan and he smirks pulling his face impossibly close to mine. "..or touch you." He says as he takes his hand and brushes it lightly down my arm and he snakes it back around my back pulling me even closer if that is possible. "What else do you want me to say, Mia?" "Did you mean it?" There is a pause and I just-I feel exhausted, the kind that 12 hours of sleep hasn't been able to fix. "Hannah said I don't deserve to be loved, is that how you feel too?" She might not have said it in as many words but that's exactly what she meant. He takes my hand in his and kisses it. "Between the both of us-it's I who doesn't deserve to be loved." "Too bad you already are." "Please stop saying it!" he may not have screamed the words at me but he might as well have. "You think I am lying?" He holds my face with both his hands and looks deep in my eyes. "Mia, I will say this for the last time. I don't do love. I don't want to be loved by anyone and I will never fall in love with anyone ever. If you love me, keep that love to yourself. Please." "Why?" "This is the deal, Mia. Take it or leave it. I will give you my loyalty and my time but I will not have you telling me you love me ever again. I don't believe in love and I can't give you love. Can you live with that?" "Stop pretending. Boyfriend, right? With whom you'll be hanging out once Eth and your Dad are gone." I stared at him in disbelief. "What more things are you gonna do? I would love to know more." "Dante please, leave." I tried to push him away but instead he held my hands and pinned them behind me pulling me closer to him, our chest crashed with each other. His one hand came up to my lips, I gulped hard he looked really angry. His eyes landed on my lips tracing his thumb over my bottom lip he asked "Did he kiss you?" I remained quiet. Taking his gaze off my lips he looked me in the eye and asked again "Did he kiss you?" "Why do you care?" I asked back. ************************************** Dante Armel, a billionaire to whom success is everything and the word love, it doesn't have any meaning in his life. He does care about people, his people whom he loves the most and can go any extent to protect them. Emily Hart, an innocent girl with a horrible past, adopted at the age of 15 after her parents death in an accident. Can't say what relationship they shared in the past but one misunderstanding leads Dante to hate Emily but still he can't stop caring about her, being a jealous ass on seeing her with some other guy. But there is something about Emily no one knows, not even Dante. Let's see what this love-hate relationship leads to in the end....Complete
