A year after the final war against Hybren, Vedara finds herself navigating her new position as High Lady of The Twilight Court. Her inner circle is made up of a group of outcasts, some with tragic pasts, who are looking to find a their place in the world. A female dominated inner circle means a new type of society for Prythian, but that doesn't mean there won't be obstacles along the way. Obstacles such as trouble from the Autumn Court, with whom Vedara has a long history. Familiar characters from the Night Court make appearances in this spin off from A Court of Thorns and Roses.
