Night time in New York City. Nothing quite like it in the world. They call it, "The City That Never Sleeps", and I can voucher that statement true. It's busy, cars constantly rumbling across the streets, store fronts light up like Christmas anywhere else, but here, it's all the time. People having conversations, yelling across the streets to each other, hailing taxis. The noise mesmerizes me, and sometimes I like to sit and watch, and most of all, listen.

I am old. I have no family. People call me heartless, and I just let them think that, because it is easier, easier to let people decieve themselves, instead of me letting my feelings out. This is the story of the one discovery that opened me up and let in some warmth to thaw my frozen heart.
