Life Changes {JJK}

Life changes. This is something most everyone older than the age of 8 just knows and accepts. It changes for better and for worse. Change can be good sometimes, but this means it can be terrible sometimes too.
Here's an example. I had a best friend back in high school, and he was a really cool guy. Funny, spontaneous, and just completely in love with life. While I was a much quieter, observant person, he just wanted to go out and meet new people and talk about the future. I think he was ahead of me in life, really. And boy, did I love him. I never had any reason to expect him to ever see me as more than a good friend and I was okay with that, I honestly was! He kept me steady in the best ways and always made time for me.
But then we graduated, and everything went to shit in a matter of months. I haven't spoken to him since.
