The novel The Rose Inside the Palace seized the hearts of many readers around the world. Similar to the brethren of its genre, it featured the fantasy of a world of royalty, magic, and knights. And as all stories like it, it had a hero, a heroine, a villainess, and a dreadful villain by the name of Emperor Cadmael Leonhart Viktor de Sol Augustin.

For my beloved younger sister, it was her most favorite thing in the world. So much so, that she forced me to read it.

To her utter dismay, I only read halfway through it before dropping it entirely.

The reason? I didn't like the villain. Yet for some reason, my siblings say I'm just like him!

But if I knew that I had an abrupt appointment with Truck-kun this coming Monday, maybe I shouldn't have done that...

Amazing cover made by: Geksxx Talia grew up without trusting anyone but herself to live. With no father figure to look up to and a clinically depressed mother who keeps on betraying her, Talia crawls her way to the top of the social chain to survive. But one drunken night, she meets her terrible end. Just like that, Talia loses all she worked hard for, or so she thought. When she wakes up, she becomes a duke's eldest daughter in a medieval era where alliances and conspiracies dictate a noble's future and where love is a luxury that will lead anyone to ruin. No matter how twisted the world she is pushed into, Talia is determined to live long. She realizes that she is given a second chance to live - or not. Reality slaps her hard when she learns that she is now inside the body of a sixteen-year-old villain character of the Netflix series that she binge-watched, "Thorny Crown"! Talia, who is now the infamous Lady Victoria, entered a popular yet twisted Netflix series two years before the plot started. And in that plot, the character of Lady Victoria is meant to die like cannon fodder for the female lead! Talia refuses to die again. And this time, she is going to extend her helping hand to another side character, the second prince of the story, Prince Cory. She decides to be the queen and defy the plot called destiny with the king of her choosing. In an era of deceit and conspiracies, will she be able to keep her head as she walks the thorny path of a villain? With her head on the line, will she be able to control her blooming feelings for the pawn that she has chosen?

[WARNING: Some parts of the story contains suicide.] She was suicidal before coming into a new world. When she jumped from a tall building, the time suddenly stopped for a moment before she falls to the ground. She then heard a mellifluous voice of a being she could not see. "Child, are you sure to end your life?" She wasn't able to speak from confusion. She's feeling as if it's is dream. But it's real. The time stopped and for a moment, and she hesitated about dying. "If you fall from this building, you won't die but you will lose your ability to walk and write. And you will no longer able to use your voice." The voice spoke again like he knows what will really happen. And because of this, she was taken aback with the sudden revelation. "Who are you?" She asked because she is thinking if it was a diety or a God. "My child, I will give you a chance to live but not in this world. In that world, remember that you are powerful. And use that power to live your life as you want." After the short conversation with that unknown being, she woke up in an extremely fancy room. And she found out that she was living in a body of a manipulated villainess. That villainess was known as a 'puppet villainess' whose power is to sing. And she knows what exactly will happen in the future because she has once read that mysterious novel. So then, what is she going to do in this life? 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗜𝗦 𝗠𝗬 𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬!! ✦━━━━━━༺༻━━━━━━✦ ➥ 𝑰𝒏 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒉: Ehh...? No. No no no. This has to be a joke. I woke up in the world of a very cliché romance novel...... and who am I? Hahhh... Of course. Aveline von Astor. The villainess. The tragic, doomed villainess who exists solely to make the heroine look good. Great. According to the novel, I'm supposed to lose everything, get tossed into a dungeon, starve for days and then ta-da!... die by execution. Seriously, universe? Or God? Couldn't I have been a background maid or a random tree? And as if that wasn't enough, guess what? The supposedly "loyal" male leads? Wth? Yeah... they're falling for me. ME. LIKE NO! Shut up and stay away from me. YUCKKK!! EHH?! How is this happening?! They're supposed to be fawning over Miss Sunshine and Rainbows, not glaring at her and asking me if I've eaten today! NAH GET OUT OF MY FACE I DONT WANT YOU!! JUST LEAVE ME BE!! Did I seriously win the unluckiest lottery in the afterlife...? But then there is that man. Him. The demon lord. "Touch her soul," he said softly, "and I will erase your god from history." (A/N: not ur generic villainess reincarnation trope.. Olivia was your average 18 year old girl. Keyword, 𝙬𝙖𝙨, until she drowned in a lake and woke up in a crappy novel her friend recommended to her. The character she'd been convinced to read it for ended up being a small-time, side villain that disappeared half-way through the story, Olivia Auclair, the duke's sickly eldest daughter with the same first name as her. And just as her luck would have it, she now is living as that Olivia. Truthfully, she barely knew what she was getting into or why she was sent here after death in the first place. The only recollection she had of the story was the spoiled, self-centered heroine, Angelica, with a generic backstory and extremely overpowered abilities, the main characters who surround her, and of course, her hatred for the fictional book. Her saving grace to stay alive and well? Well of course it is to befriend the two most prominent characters within her reach, the antagonist and the male lead. Both of which eventually would be roped into the heroine's harem, but if all went right then hopefully by then she wouldn't have anything to worry about. Unfortunately, her plan backfired some where along the way, and now she is faced with the heroine's silent wrath and jealousy, her pawns overprotectiveness, an adopted noble's persistence, family drama, and the ever enclosing end of the story. What's a girl to do in her second life except lie down and accept her impending doom? -> Currently being rewritten!!! <-

Among those who are curious is a handsome young prince whose eyes finally light up after years of mediocrity.
