"Here, put your arms out." He spoke, causing me to turn my head to look at him. He was a nice bit taller than me, even though just a year ago we were the same height. I stood confused, watching him unsure of his next actions. He pursued his lips, avoiding my face. "I.. you can use my jacket." he trailed off. "Now put out your arms."
".. Okay." I replied softly, not sure if there was a way to say no to this act of kindness. His fingers brushed my skin as he pulled the warm fabric over my arms and pulled the hood and my hair out from the inside of the jacket. I turned to look at him fully now, his jacket's arms covering my hands almost completely except for the tips of my fingers. "Won't you be cold now though?"
"I'll be fine, you can borrow it for today-- or the rest of the week."
