Ophelia Asfern has been bullied through primary school. She finally gets a chance to start over, when a friendly giant arrives at her house one day, announcing that she has been accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It takes a while for he to realise that maybe she isn't dreaming - maybe miracles can happen.
She arrives at Hogwarts, but the sorting hat can't place her. She is Hogwarts's first unsortable student. She befriends the Weasley twins, and learns that maybe there is more to them than the happy pranksters that the world sees.
She learns to rebuild her life, and finds friendship and love along the way.
