When one of the guys from her crew decide that since she is thirteen she should start school again on a scholarship at the rich school across the tracks for dance she meets Jay Winters, the overly smart but cute fourteen year old.after being paired for an English project she meets his family and discovers things that she wishes were left in her cold unwanted past.
