The people of Adunad believe their King was chosen by the Gods to rule forever and never take a soulmate, but what they don't know is that Artemis has been killing his soulmates as he finds them, ensuring he will never grow old, and never have to give up his Kingdom.
He can't afford to let one slip through his fingers, much less his people to see a soulmark on his body. Caught in his own web of lies, Artemis is backed into a corner when his newest soul mate emerges.

Amyria was born into a world of violence, a world that was rapidly becoming more and more dangerous, especially for people like her.
A war is brewing between the mages and the humans, and anyone with the mark of the mage is in danger as a new God emerges. His followers are taking his scripture into their own hands and rejecting the old Gods, vowing to hunt and kill Mages to restore the balance of nature their God preaches.
Hiding her powers to protect herself and her family, Amyria tries to live a normal life. She was successful... At least for a while.
