Will Kane finds a body underneath Hell Gate Bridge. Where this gruesome discovery leads him is a world even he, a New York native, never dreamed existed. Not even in his worst nightmares.

No one knows the full extent of the labyrinth that lies below New York City. It's a world unto itself. People, mostly homeless, have made inroads to the more accessible parts for shelter. But there are others who prowl the darkness for their own evil reasons.

He learns this isn't an isolated incident and that murders are being committed in horrendous ways; and they seem to be just the tip of the iceberg that can be seen. The police, not able to control the streets above, care little about what's below and the missing. It's up to Kane to find out who is behind this. And as he literally digs deeper, he realizes it reaches to the highest levels of New York City.

Ex-Green Beret Will Kane has undiagnosed Asperger. He is a high functioning autistic, like a number of exceptional people, especially in the arts. Except his art is death and he is very, very good at it. Now he faces his greatest challenge yet.

Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. I'm a high school drop-out, late everywhere I go, and one screw-up away from being homeless. I'm a loner, and I like it that way. Who needs friends when you have a Redwood forest nearby? Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?

But, that is okay, for I am no longer Emily Crater, the short brunette girl with blue eyes that had a part time job as a barista, I am now Madeline Jackson, and this is my story of how I am running away from myself. How I am moving on. Three months ago, I lost the love of my life. One simple mistake took her away from me, my happiness, my everything. My parents caused all of this. When Emily left it opened all of our eyes. When she left, something inside of me broke. Emily left, taking a piece of my heart with her. My name is Lucas Greene, and I will find Emily, even if it kills me. Three months ago, my sister left us, all of us. Three months ago, I realized that the things you may hate about a person, are the things you miss the most when they are gone. At the time, The Elite Force and I were fighting The Crazed Duo. I would have never thought that Emily was Scarlet Sea. I called her a monster, but she forgave me. If, no when I get Emily back, I am never letting her go, Emily, I am sorry, this is Veronica, please, just come home. Three months ago, Emily left me. I failed her, as her best friend and her accomplice. I was not a good person around Emily when I was Witch Flame. If only I had known that our parents were behind Lucas's 'death.' I am sorry Emily, and I understand if I never receive your forgiveness, it's LIly, and I just wanted to let you know that we all miss you.

My mother was shocked about it and wanted me to do however my father didn't think I should due to me being too young. That was one thing that my father disapprove. Skip 4 years and I was about to finish high school so I could get into a one of the colleges I applied but I still had a bad relationship with my dad.
