5. P R E D A T O R S : Nightmares
With the breaking of the greatest Pact--the revelation of the Safe Havens' collective existence--the barrier of every haven has fallen, leaving them open and vulnerable. Xirxine, the Avatars, and the Worthy are working around the clock to maintain global stability, even as the secret organization struggles with the repercussions of their actions and attempts to mesh with the world's governments and guidelines.
Meanwhile, Mr. Barakoa finds himself held captive in his own headquarters. As he searches for a way out, he finds solace and assistance in an unexpected source: Xirxine's namesake, the mask itself.
As for the Safe Havens, darkness looms on the horizon. A newcomer and a familiar face join forces and begin to wreak havoc in havens worldwide--although, not the kind of havoc they were expecting. In attempting to summon their all-powerful allies, the duo unintentionally tear open an interdimensional rift, bringing forth hostile predators that are the stuff of nightmares.
How will Xirxine, the Avatars, and their new global allies handle this new, unforeseen threat? Can Mr. Barakoa escape from Xirxine International with the help of the mask--and a couple of new interns? And just WHAT is going on with Addison?
