It consumed every surface of my body and mind like a deadly cancer It had become a promise to myself. A reminder. A standard. It was a rule applied to every person in my life, except him... I Am A Monster
I am a monster. I am a monster for leaving my father to die on that horrible day when they caught up to us. Maybe this is stupid to feel this way. I would have died either way. The only difference is dying in cowardice, for running away from your prison, or dying in pride, going down fighting for a noble cause, knowing that you changed something. That decision is harder than you think. And I'll be facing it soon enough. Btw I'm so sorry that this is all over the place; I wrote it in 6th grade lol. Shock. Once the shock wore off, I was confused. Then angry. You made me so angry because I felt betrayed by your choice. Your choice to leave me, leave me all alone in this dark world. I felt so angry and betrayed by your choice to desert me when you were all I had. Then I accepted the fact that you were no longer here because that's just how it was and how it had to be.
