Tris was just an ordinary girl well at least on the outside but really she has deep dark secrets. 
Tris and her family just moved to Chicago from Australia. She has a younger brother and an older one (caleb). Tris is a gifted child with many talents and some of those talents make her different from the rest of us. When she goes to a new high school she mets someone and falls in love. She must  make a choice to trust that once she tells him he won't see her her as the mister she is and expose her secret. 
Story is in modern day.

Tris has caught herself in a situation when she sleeps with two guys around the same time and turns out pregnant. In the beginning she doesn't know who the father is. Is it Tobias or Al? She's not dating either one of them, she just had sex with them and that's all it was. She later finds herself falling in love with the two boys and the two boys falling in love with her. Eventually she finds out the father of the baby but she has to decide if she wants to stay with the father of her baby or the other guy. Let's not forget Tris is only 18 at the time and is trying to finish high school, deal with boy troubles, learn how to be a mom, and start a career.
