Elissa is a young girl who is an optimistic romantic. She is inlove with being inlove and having someone who adores you unconditionally. She is intelligent and bold. She falls inlove with Freddy who sweeps her off her feet. He is everything you read about in the romantic novels. In the beginning he is everything a girl would wish for but soon our boy reveals his true colors. Which aren't so bright and charming. He turns out to be more of a beast than beauty. Fortunately Elissa gets saved by Nathaniel who has a dark side that Elissa loves. This story is a romantic novel, a short one. It introduces Elissa who dates Freddy at first. And then later realizes that he is not the one for her. Elissa is humble, laughs alot, introverted but talkative. She is intolerant of any form of violence or pain Freddy is pretentious, he is a mirror he reflects exactly what you want to see. He acts sweet and kind, he is great. Meredith who is Elissa's best friend has been warning her of Freddy since the beginning. Freddy's true colors are revealed when he starts being violent, overly obsessed and controlling . When Elissa meets Nathaniel, a smart, affectionate, passionate, ambitious and generous boy she can not resist falling in love. Freddy gets jealous of their love and it drives him over the edge.
