And then later realizes that he is not the one for her. Elissa is humble, laughs alot, introverted but talkative. She is intolerant of any form of violence or pain Freddy is pretentious, he is a mirror he reflects exactly what you want to see. He acts sweet and kind, he is great. Meredith who is Elissa's best friend has been warning her of Freddy since the beginning. Freddy's true colors are revealed when he starts being violent, overly obsessed and controlling . When Elissa meets Nathaniel, a smart, affectionate, passionate, ambitious and generous boy she can not resist falling in love. Freddy gets jealous of their love and it drives him over the edge.
