"Hey, you still like whatsherface? Lennox?" Justin smirked widely, trying to hold back his laughter.

I tensed a little and snorted. "Shut up, man. It was a silly crush in middle school. Get off my ass about it," I said nonchalantly. In middle school, I had this huge crush on a girl named Lennox. So, that's when I started to just focus on basketball to get her off my mind.

"I dare you to go out with her for the rest of the school year," Justin said, throwing me off guard. "If you go out with her and still don't like her by the end of the school year, I will give you 300 dollars."
