"Hey, you still like whatsherface? Lennox?" Justin smirked widely, trying to hold back his laughter.
I tensed a little and snorted. "Shut up, man. It was a silly crush in middle school. Get off my ass about it," I said nonchalantly. In middle school, I had this huge crush on a girl named Lennox. She was pretty much a wallflower, not really popular or outgoing. She only talked to the few friends she had. She wasn't as hot as all the popular girls, but I thought she was pretty enough for me to like. Something about her made me like her at the time, but I didn't remember what. One day, I told Justin that I like her, and he mocked me, saying I like "the loser girl". I was pretty embarrassed by the situation and somehow managed to stop liking her, knowing that if I pursued her, my popular status would go down the drain. So, that's when I started to just focus on basketball to get her off my mind.
"I dare you to go out with her for the rest of the school year," Justin said, throwing me off guard. "If you go out with her and still don't like her by the end of the school year, I will give you 300 dollars."
"Why?"
"Because I want to prove that you still have a thing for her," Justin chuckled.
I rolled my eyes. I didn't still have a thing for Lennox; that was a middle school crush. I'm over it, it was stupid. But I mean, 300 dollars is a lot of money. And I know I can easily persuade her to go out with me in the time's being..."Deal," I said after a moment's thought, sticking my hand out for him to shake. He smirked and shook my hand.
"Prove me wrong, loverboy."
The moon was full and a certain party was over. Two people were sitting by the poolside. The girl's feet were half underwater. "I just don't see how your tongue can be in so many throats in one night!" she said to the guy for the third time. He rolled his eyes."Mine was just in girls, you gave everybody a taste of yours!" "No, no! You're imagining that, remember?" The girl said determined. He laughed. "Let's say I am. What's your idea of the perfect kiss?" She thought about it for a minute and a serious look came to her face. "The perfect kiss is the one you get under the moonlight. The one that makes you feel like you're the only people in the world and like nothing can break you apart..." She laughed "The perfect kiss takes you to infinity AND BEYOND!" She slid into the pool laughing. Meet Isabella. A beautiful, average, teenage girl who just moved to a new town. Then Meet The Player. A guy who basically "rules" the school.
