Janus Cozbi has never been considered a popular person, it was actually the complete opposite, he was near invisible. He usually would just talk to his only friend, Remus Kimiko, whom he believed to be to be an only child. Janus wouldn't exactly say he didn't have a good home life it was just his father was dead, his mother didn't really care about him and his older brother was an asshole

Janus and Remus have always loved volleyball. Janus has never been on an actual volleyball team until his first year in high school when Remus convinced him to join one. It was then when Janus met Remus's rather attractive twin, Roman Kimiko

Janus Owens would do absolutely anything in his power for his little brother Virgil. The chances of a sixteen-year-old getting adopted weren't very large, when you throw in Janus's medical history, and the fact that he and Virgil are pretty much a package deal, the chances came down to pretty much zero. Virgil however... Sweet, kind, nine-year-old Virgil didn't suffer from any visible health issues (not like Janus who was all but covered in burn scars). Now he still had a chance. And the agency was more than aware of that. So when a great opportunity comes along that might just end with at least one of the Owen's brothers finding a home Janus is presented with their 'wonderful' and 'brilliant' decision that would in the end 'be better for everyone'. Virgil and Janus would be separated.
