Long ago, EyrieClan, DuneClan and GroveClan lived in harmony. Then everything changed when a raging wildfire destroyed their home and forced them to flee to the Castaway peninsula. They have found new homes and territories, but their struggles are only just beginning. Their new home is dangerous, full of deadly predators, strange diseases, and terrifying storms. 

Worse still are a mysterious group of rogues called The Children of the Ember. They are the original cats of peninsula, and their leader has vowed to drive out the clans once and for all. Just as all seems lost, a medicine cat recieves a new prophecy that could either save the clans, or destroy them forever...

THIS IS BOOK 2!! GO READ WARRIORS: SNOW ON MY PAGE BEFORE THIS ONE!! SPOILERS BELOW: Weatherfall has fled Snowclan after killing his sister, hoping to seek shelter in Waterclan. While the deputy, Owlstripe, vouches for him because he saved her kits, Froststar isn't so sure. Weatherfall must prove himself if he's going to be accepted into a new Clan, but he must also dig deep inside himself and reflect on the choices that led him to Waterclan in the first place. Meanwhile, back in Snowclan, both Stormsplash and Briarpaw are grieving after losing their respective sisters. Stormsplash searches for answers to Rockflight's death, knowing that something's not adding up. When Briarpaw finds out that Weatherfall might still be alive, he'll stop at nothing to find him, hoping to spare even more heartbreak. But with a sickness spreading through the camp and a battle brewing between Waterclan and Snowclan, the cats must find a way to control their grief before it destroys them, and before their Clans are destroyed by the illness and war.
