Meet Sarah Anne Riley, a small town with big city dreams. When Sarah Anne's best friend excuse me EX-best friend commits the ultimate betrayal Sarah Anne decides it's the last straw. She packs up her belongings and leaves her small Texas town for bigger and perhaps better places. As Sarah Anne begins a tragedy strikes throwing Sarah Anne for a loop forcing her to accept the past and prepare for a very daunting future in the old south.

Enter Tanner Walker, Tanner, or to his close friends and what family he has left, Walker, has sworn off women to focus on taking care of his younger sister and sick mother. After losing his father Tanner has taken it upon himself to bring his families cattle and horse ranch back to the glorious success that it was when his father was around to run it.

Follow Sarah Anne as she goes on the adventure of a lifetime, from a time when women can do and wear whatever they want to a time when women wore skirts 24/7 and were expected to do nothing more than gossip and take care of the house.
