Seeing as this is my first time actually writing a world I hope you'll enjoy the journey of the character which can be seen as yourself or someone you want to fill the spot. In year xxxx scientists decided to experiment on something new. They buy people on black market and created an unknown liquid to inject on them. After sacrificing hundreds of people for the unknown liquid to keep evolving after some test something happened that scientists themselves will call impossible. A hybrid. "A human with animal ears and tail?!" " we'll become millionaire if we sell them to black market! People will bet thousands of their money to buy one of this creatures. " " We'll just make sure the government won't know about this. " After some years of selling different kind of hybrids the government eventually know of this. They plan on stopping this kind of transactions but it's already too late. People falling in love and mating with their hybrids causing it's population to increase. The scientist's payed their crime in jail and got their head slashed off their own body. Government approve that people can take care of hybrids but can be sentenced to being put in jail for a life time if known of abusing them. Everything sounds peaceful now aren't it? No. M/n after a stressful day on his school just wanted to lay down on his bed while sipping on his hot chocolate as he watched the rain poured down on his window. But when a male neko around his age knocked on his door drenched in rain, shivering and bruised, he just need the urge to cry why things keep happening and when it happens it just need to bother him. (edit) I forgot to add that this started out as a confessional journal about becoming clean after a 10 year + addiction to OTC cold meds, but that was not my style of writing, I liked the material so I wanted to expand it into a novel length work featuring the journal elements. To say this work is a roller coaster would put it lightly. Although there are elements of time travel I would consider my sudden transitions reality travel. I use actual experience and dreams as a foundation, then toss in some fourth wall breaking narratives (meta-fiction), with a sprinkling of facts and quotations from songs and factual articles. It tends to be written similarly to an essay sans the boring. I have been influenced strongly by Vonnegut and W. S. Burroughs , and a wide variety of album rock, and that bleeds through. The tags dystopian and dark humor describe the whole piece best but there is a lot of genre jumping. I've done a good deal of research, not just for factual things but for the type of writing I do. Although not technically fan fiction, there is a nod to Final Fantasy games. The cover photo is a shared copyright, Brian Barbour took the photo, I added treatments.
