After years of working at the River Fields Mortuary, Y/N finds that she is unfazed by the frequent demon possessions and paranormal activity that occurs there daily. It begins to feel almost like any other monotonous job, doing the same tasks day after day. That is of course until one demon she comes across begins to act differently than all of the others that she has banished back to Hell before him.
Instead of being hell-bent on possessing her, or the bodies in the mortuary, he seems to be content to stick around and simply make Y/N's job a living hell. She can't seem to figure out what his goal is but she's determined to make sure the rest of the demons trying to force their way into the real world stay in their lane and the bodies under her care, and their families, still get the proper send-off that they deserve.
