A graduating Political Science student was reincarnated as the villainess of a novel that she used to read, after dying for unknown reasons. Incidentally, as with any other villainess of a happy ending story, she has to experience a painful demise, condemned by all. Realizing that she wanted to die of old age instead, she prevented the fateful and painful events by annulling her engagement with the Male lead. However, because of a certain law, things became much more complicated than she thought.

Let us join Frieda Landerborne as she explores the world of politics at the Patriarchal Kingdom of Beleriadcrest, set in the medieval era.

In the shadows of a once-vibrant spirit, Y/n, a broke college girl, struggles through the monotonous routine of life, her passion extinguished by the harsh realities of college. A stark contrast to her high school days filled with joy and friends, Y/n's existence becomes a colorless chore. Desperate for a spark of life, she stumbles upon a mysterious velvet-colored book in her local bookstore one night, deciding to escape reality for a while. Little does Y/n know that this particular book is a gateway to a realm beyond her wildest imagination. After reading it through the night, she awakens in a world that is not only different but shockingly familiar. Y/n finds herself transported into the very novel she devoured the previous night, taking on the role of the villainess engaged to the crown prince, Elliot Fitzroy Vermillion. Will she survive and live her life peacefully in the Rocherlieu Duchy? Or will she suffer the same fate as Delancy's- whose life was claimed by Elliot?
