Dannie thought she would just train to become your average magician performer.
But she was wrong.
After waking up from a dream and learning what had happened in it had really come true, she didn't know what to think anymore. The creature in her dream, a Pactor, explained that she was among a few chosen to be gifted with True Magic, real magic. Making her a Magician of true magical abilities.
Just when she thought the real magic was all there was to it, she was told why she was chosen.
The planet that could now be seen from her own, the planet that she swore hadn't always been there, now seemed like a close neighbor and seemed normal to everyone else. That was the home planet of Pactors and the home of their original partners.
But something dark is happening, which is why the Pactors chose her and the others. People are dying, and not from an illness, it's mysterious and no one can figure out from what. Except the Pactors know.
They warn the new Magicians that they must find each other.
They must fight the enemy known as Tricksters before they can take anymore lives.
If they fail, both worlds and many more will be placed into an everlasting darkness of chaos and dark ruling, or even worse than a simple dark monarchy.
The Magicians will have to fight at night, when most attacks happen. They will even be forced to take the lives of their enemy in order to fulfill their mission.
But can the magical warm truly be ended by ending another's life, or is there more this war?
