Reload is the story about Elizabeth Cole a 21 year old college student who has been named Valedictorian of her class at Rice University. Elizabeth is a girl with a big heart she loves to help others, even though life has been hard on her and her family she has learned to live life responsibly by her own.
The day she lost her father, when she was just 16 years old, would be the beginning of the end between Elizabeth and her mother's (Melanie) relationship. Toxic companies, drug abuse and more start to drown her mother, making Elizabeth decided between staying and watch her destroy herself or walk away.
Now Elizabeth is scared of love, she is afraid of loving someone as hard as her mother loved her dad. Is this what loves makes to people? Something that she promised herself when she left home is that she would never be like Melanie.
Life will surprise Elizabeth, when she meets Jonathan the man who will turn her world upside down, proving that not everything is black and white. Jonathan will make Elizabeth question her life choices and more.
Will she trust him? Will Elizabeth believe in love again? Will Melanie and Elizabeth recover their relationship?
